I ran across this post earlier today when researching "wheel hop." Greg Dupree talks about optimum tire pressure at the end of the following post. He's addressing the issue of wheel hop, which would come into play when launching the car for drag racing. The post is from 2004, so not sure if Greg's feelings are still the same. Hope it helps. I did a few semi-hard launches on the way home and definitely had less tire spin, though the raised pressure in the fronts seemed to produce a somewhat harsher ride. GPA
